Le FLAIR du temps - Sami Saab steals the same ad twice.

Remember when I made a public fuss about the fact that Moukarzel Jewelry stole the Nina Ricci ad? Well, the agency behind it was Clementine and the creative director was Sami Saab. Sami has since left Clementine and establish Phenomena a creative boutique which has just done an ad for Flair. And by Jove! It has the same Nina Ricci frames which were previously stolen for Moukarzel Jewelry.
Woman + white setting + Christmas tree made from precious objects + woman putting object on said tree.
Sami stole it once, and now twice. Is there no end to this?

Maybe it's a statement he's making?
Like "Hey, I'm stealing the same concept again AND I'm being paid for it. Can you do the same?"...

Well, that's an interesting theory Samah.... And yes, I am sure he got paid TWICE for what essentially is stealing!

Maybe he's gone green? Reuse and recycle?

May be that was his only way to get exposure to his add. Knowing that it would be mentioned here.

What's ironic is that I just had a conference on plagiarism in advertising and I mentioned him about half a dozen times already. Well, Jad, the whole ad industry is environmentally-aware if that's what you mean (a slogan you do for a bank can easily go to an insurance company but usually NOT after having sold it to the bank successfully!)....

That is sad.
