UN-nahar ad? Another theft from BBDO

Remember how excited we were about the Annahar TV ad for the 80th anniversary? Great, it turns out to be another ad stolen by BBDO (they have a long history as you know!) This time they chose to nick the ad of the UN (well, in their defense, they steal from the best - previously Spielberg and now the UN)... Sigh....

UN ad was produced 20 years ago, and it is in spanish with low visibility. it is an emotional ad shot in a uniform colored format with a song from Marlene D library.

Annahar on another hand is humorous, funny and witty. it is clearly shot differently using old cinema format, with a kidding sarcastic song, tackling a pure lebanese insight which is our own politicians.

Theft is a big accusation how can you prove it is not pure coincidence?

Impact BBDO has already stolen or to quote them (or you?) "got inspired" by many previous ads (just check them at Joe Lapompe).... The Jeita ad, the C&F ad et je passe. So with such a back record, yes, theft is not a big accusation. They've done it before, they'll do it again.
