"There's no turth in Beirut, only versions" or so said Bill Farrell late correspondent in Beirut for the New York Times... This new work essentially explores the concept of retelling the same story graphically from different angles. The first version is the one where the layers (or "strata") are shown stripped bare... The second, third and fourth are the usual Lebanese "felfol w bhar" (or "sauce"). Memory can be trecherous, and adaptable to all practical purposes, especially in this land.
