Why has our wine industry waited so long to give its best?
I am in love, positively and genuinely in love. We finally have a wine whose name does not begin with "chateau", whose typo is not that of Veuve Cliquot, whose logo is fresh, crisp and plain innovative while still being recognisable, and easy to read. Welcome Ixsir!
I have read in Monocle that Ixsir means "to distill" - not to my knowledge to be honest, I know that when applied to Arak it means "adding water to it" - but also the word remins me of "elixir" that beautiful word with Medieval conotations of potions and dark love spells....
It is good to know that our wine industry has waited so long to give its best.
