Many thanks to
Jad A. Aoun and www.xqwzts.com for having volunteered the above images. The one with the two billboards is the image I spoke of in an earlier
post and the second is an earlier poster for Pierre Hachach but from an earlier election saying "Nayeb el akhdar wel yabess" which litteraly means "deputy of the green ad the dessicated" however, it also alludes to a very crude local expression wich says "nayek el akhdar wel yabess" which means "he fucks the green and the dessicated." Bold, to say the least!

I am from Batroun (Pierre's home town) and I have to admit he has he best billboards/slogans EVER.
The 2005 "Nayeb el akhdar wel yebess" is the most memorable, and it contains one extra reference.
The "ma'da7" in his hand, is because he wants to "yekhro' el ley7a" when every one was proposing to vote for whole lists. :-)
But I also remember the 2000 campaign, "Ra7 yousall el zefet lal rkeb". With a great word play too.
However, (unfortunately) word is he is not just doing it to prove a point :-(
I keep hearing from different sources he is being paid by someone to run on a condition that he allows his "mandoubin" to work for the other guy because there is a limit on how many "mandoubin" each nominee can have.
It also explains why this year he is running in Tripolis instead of his hometown Batroun, in previous election Tripolis and Batroun were the same "electoral district" now they are different, and the guy (from tripolis) paying him will not be able to use his "mandoubin" if they are in another electoral district, so he moved.
This is all hearesay and I have no idea who is the guy accused of paying him, so it could be just a rumor.
Anyway all this does not change the fact that he consistently has the best campaign slogan!
