Florence Arthaud: Survived the sea, killed by air

She is the one for whom Pierre Bachelet wrote "flo". She is the woman who braved the seas and in a typical feminist statement told Paris Match "I have a man in every harbor" (a typical twist of the famous sailor's motto "une femme dans chaque port" - a woman in every harbor). Florence Arthaud died in Argentina when the two helicopters shooting for French reality TV collided mid air.
To quote another Bachelet song, "pour moi c'est sur, elle est d'ailleurs". For me, for sure, she is from somewhere else. Wherever she was from, now she has returned.
