The new Toyota Corona is now in Beirut.

Heaven help us! All right, the title of this post was misleading, it's not exactly the new Toyota which is in Beirut. It's the '67 Corona which was spotted on Sassine Square (and the reason I know the model is because I have the original ad in my archives dated 1967 and which headlines "what is the reason that Toyota is convinced that a car should be more than economical"). And to think that this car passes the annual mechanical test and is deemed safe to be on the roads. Go figure. I love it when I find a nice piece of Carcheology to share with you!
