Ah Le Beau Danube Bleu by Johann Strauss was parodied in Tom and Jerry as Johann Mouse.... And if that was not bad enough, you get this! "Green onion leaves" is translated as "green onion leaves" in Danube supermarket in Saudi Arabia. Don't get it? Read this before you leave then. Apparently they made a literal translation - instead of leaves being "leaves" it was translated as a "verb".... Al bassal al akhdar. So as the saying goes: Kol bassal w insa yalli 7assal, kol toum w insa el houmoum (eat onions and forget what happened, eat garlic and forget your worries). No wonder some people don't like neither garlic nor onions :)
