Coca Cola "Social Media Guard" unveiled... On social media

Coca-Cola just launched its "Social Media Guard", in a statement the company says: "We have just started a conversation on a light-hearted look at how social media can dominate our daily lives and how it has changed the way that we 'share' moments with each other. This is not to downplay the value that technology brings to our lives, rather an invitation to enjoy every day’s uplifting moments as they happen. Let's keep spreading the word and get everyone engaged. This is just the beginning :)"
Whereas I am not against the campaign at all, and I find it rather cute, the big drawback is: The social media guard is actually unveiled, promoted, spread, shared, commented upon.... On social media!
Isn't that counter-intuitive?
