The national lottery has been part of the collective memory of the Lebanese since its inception in 1943. Whereas it has come to be replaced by “Loto” the older version with printed paper baring serial numbers still retains its charm. Ambulant merchants still scream “bokra el sahab” (tomorrow is the draw), are you feeling lucky?
