Introducing Pencil n' Stencil.

OK, I shall be honest. Even though graffiti is everywhere these days, everything I see as of late in Beirut regarding urban arts feels very "canned" and "prepackaged". Which is why it is a pleasure to see something quirky going on in that department. Introducing: Pencil n' Stencil.

It is a "new urban art brand created by a group of youth artists that are ready to transform your look into a funky one,whether it is your cap, shoes, or bag . Added to that its your chance to get your special stenciled phone cover with any design you choose." At least this is how they describe themselves.

They also have a facebook page which you can find here. My personal favorite is the Converse customization which says "Converse all star" but written with Arabic classic typography. Truly a refreshing take!
