Sadly I could not locate that wonderful photo of the bride and groom running in downtown Beirut in the middle of the civil war in Lebanon (I think it was take by Fouad el Koury)... But to compensate, and as a proof of the Lebanese resilience, folly, and borderline reckless defiance here are some photos of weddings in the Beirut ruins: Rweiss 2013 (in the same place the explosion happened a few days back), and Dahyeh at large in 2006 (two different marriages).
