Beirut mayhem-mek soon!

Beirut/NTSC will be sharing with you "Beirut mayhem-mek" - which is a compilation of some of my writings about this mad city between 2006 and 2007. Since Beirut is stuck on a "loop" mode, it ends up repeating itself under different disguises, which is why the writing is still very contemporary. As explained in the graphic above, "mayhem-mek" is also Arabic for "don't you worry"... An expression used to dismiss anything (usually significant) in Lebanon. To be very honest, these vignettes were already published in "Getting the News from Poems" my poetic anthology from 2009, which can be found here. So, watch this space!
