Now how about that for a rip off!.... The Lebanese Phalangists managed to snatch every working slogan and pretend it is their own. First, there's "our equation is threefold - army, people, state" which is a direct theft from Hizbullah's "army, people, resistance"....
The, there's "our constants are threefold, liberty, sovereignty, independence" which was the slogan of the Aoun-following people which was high jacked by the March 14 people, and now apparently the Kataeb are making a bid at it.
"Our cause is threefold, Lebanon first, second and third" - one of Bechir Gemayel's saying - but appropriating the Bechir iconography would deprive the Lebanese Forces of it (even if Bechir is the son of the Phalangists' founder Pierre Gemayel he is mostly associated with his own Lebanese Forces militia). Also "Lebanon first" is a trespassing on the Future Movement's campaign.
"Our project is threefold, decentralization, diversity, neutrality" some of this is taken directly from any plan to develop Lebanon by any NGO which has commissioned it (any time in the last twenty years) - the neutrality bit is a new one associated with not taking a stand with whatever is going on in Syria.
And... get this - it's not some pre-electoral advertising blitz, it is just a way to announce their executive forum, which is more proof that politicians are entering through the back door....
On the whole, this campaign reminds me of Abou Fouad and his 3 bi 1....
