Straight from the hot oven comes this gem from Allied Advertising!.... Copy/Paste!... Oh my God, indeed, Rabb el banadoura (rather than rebb!!!). I might be bad at doing banner, be the worst copywriter in town (according to Yves Farhat), but damn me for falling in love with this one!

Congratulations. You just earned a new title :The worst ad critic in town. And yes, damn you!
Brilliant!
hey!!!farhaaat...touche pussycat
Brilliant concept, so of course Tarek loves it...
he probably totally ignored the visual... it's nice to have Lebanese product using a smart concept, we don't always need a naked model to sell!
:)
I didn't write the first comment,
I actually liked this one.
[Except for the art direction]

"hey!!!farhaaat...touche pussycat"
That's what your mother said when I was eating her last night.
She also did say other things but I'm not gonna write them here because of the new bad words rule.
the pussy cat farhat is sensitive too... sry if I hurt your feelings....
I hope you're not in the advertising field.. your comebacks are so lame.
I'm out.
the pussy cat is out searching for a pussy to kiss his a**...
good luck!
Someone should tell the copywriter at Allied Advertising that tomato paste doesn't translate to pate de tomate.
Brilliant idea! /Good luck wafic idriss.
Finally jack actually talked about the ad itself and not about yves sexual orientation toward cats... Seriously this blog is suppose to be the only blog where we learn about ads on the new lebanese ads and all I learned today is that yves like to be called pussy in bed
Tarek, you are the best critic in town, People are just afraid to read the truth.
No, seriously the ad is such a cheesy and punny play on the word "paste". Firstly, it can't be adapted into Arabic.
Secondly, it alienates a big part of its target audience. Do you think most Lebanese housewives who have never worked on a computer have an idea what copy-paste means?
if you think that most of the Lebanese housewives have never worked on a computer than that's where your mistaken... housewives in there 60's are using computers. just check facebook and you'll find them!
100% Rana B.
Great ad!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW I LOVE IT!
It is really creative: simple, direct, and straight to the point!
60% of those who use computers are women , and if you are in the advertising or marketing feild , you will defenitely know about segmentation .
we are targeting young housewives , educated women who know what copy paste means .
unfortunately it seems you don't
it's really nice
i love it
