I was recently part of the jury of the 50th anniversary of the Peace Sign Poster Competition initiated by The Art Lounge and ArabAd and organized by The Communication Zone. I am glad to report that the 93 entries were on the whole of a very respectable level, eventually they were narrowed down to 12 finalists. Above are some of the winner, in addition to what I personally scribbled at the beach event that was thrown to announce the winners at La Voile beach in Rmeyleh. In case my handwriting is not readable, here goes: "50% discount, with every 2 PEACES get one for free." Well, as the slogan of the event said, "If we can't make peace, at least let's celebrate it!"
