The title of the project derives from one of the alternative names Ghassan Kanafani came up for his play “the prophet and the hat” as recounted by Ghada Al Samman. The visuals are made up of the letters he had sent her and which she published in a book. Tales of love, loss and sorrow. But also of hope and most of all, finding home.
