Vintage Arab advertising لا تمشي على رأسك

In an effort to bring even more comprehensive coverage of advertising, Beirut/NTSC will be launching a series of flashbacks focusing on vintage ads from the 50 (and a bit from the early 60s). The originals were not in exceptional shape (as they were litteraly left to rot in an abandonned house), and since they were of different shapes and sizes I eventually reformated everything inside a specific layout. The big surprise is that, despite the fact that these ads are 50 to 60 years old, once can notice that the quality of the messages is almost identical to what we have today. Which tells you that - despite other people saying differently - we have not come a long way baby!
